  • Member of the 2012 USA Basketball U18 National Team that compiled a 5-0 record, captured the gold medal at the 2012 FIBA Americas U18 Championship in Gurabo, Puerto Rico, and qualified the U.S. for the 2013 FIBA U19 World Championship; averaged 5.8 ppg., 3.4 rpg. and 3.0 apg.

High School Notes

  • Has played three varsity seasons, the past two at North Gwinnett High School in Suwanee, Ga., and as a freshman at Dr. Phillips High School in Orlando, Fla.
  • As a junior, recorded a triple-double with 12 points, 11 rebounds and 11 assists in a victory over Mill Creek that sent North Gwinnett to the state semifinals for the first time since 1963. The Bulldogs lost in the semis and finished 26-4.
  • Averaged 19.0 ppg., 7.0 rpg., 7.0 apg. and 4.9 spg. as a junior in 2011-12.
  • In her first season with North Gwinnett as a sophomore, averaged 18.5 ppg., 6.0 rpg., 5.0 apg. and 5.0 spg. to guide the Bulldogs to a 22-7 record and the Sweet 16 of the Georgia Class AAAAA state playoffs.
  • As a freshman at Dr. Phillips, averaged 14.1 ppg. and 4.7 rpg. to help the Panthers to their first undefeated (30-0) regular season in school history.

  • Born Alexis Brown on Oct. 27, 1994, in Boston, Mass., currently resides in Atlanta, Ga.
  • Daughter of Tammy and Dee Brown; has one brother, Anakin (6) and two sisters, Alyssa (15) and Alanni (9).
  • Father is current Detroint Pistons assistant coach, former NBA player and 1991 NBA Slam Dunk Contest winner Dee Brown. He played 12 seasons in the NBA before coaching in the WNBA for the Orlando Miracle and San Antonio Silver Stars. 
  • During the 2011-12 season, she contracted mono and uncovered the fact that she had been playing with an enlarged spleen, which is sometimes fatal. However, it was caught in time and Lexie sat out about two weeks while recovering and missed four or five games.
  • Currently carries a 4.0 GPA.
  • Plans on studying something business related and eventually earn a law degree.
