Gold Medals: 2014 FIBA Americas U18 Championship, 2012 FIBA U17 World Championship, 2011 FIBA Americas U16 Championship.

  • Member of the 2014 USA U18 National Team that compiled a 5-0 record, won the FIBA Americas U18 Championship gold medal and qualified the U.S. for the 2015 FIBA U19 World Championship; averaged a team-best 14.0 ppg., 2.2 spg. and fourth-best 5.4 rpg.
  • Member of the 2014 USA Basketball Junior National Select Team that played in the 17th annual Nike Hoop Summit; started and helped the USA to an 84-73 win over the World Select Team with seven points and three rebounds on April 12 at the Moda Center in Portland, Oregon.
  • Took part in the 2013 USA Baskeball Men’s Developmental National Team (DNT) mini-camp on Oct. 5-6 at the U.S. Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
  • Member of the 2012 USA U17 World Championship Team that compiled an 8-0 record en route to earning the FIBA U17 World Championship gold medal in Kaunas, Lithuania; started seven of eight games and averaged 7.8 ppg. and 4.9 rpg. in fewer than 19.0 minutes a game.
  • Helped the U.S. U17 squad claim a pair of exhibition victories over Australia and Latvia in Las Palmas, Canary Islands; averaged 13.5 ppg. and 5.5 rpg.
  • Member of the 2011 USA U16 National Team that compiled a 5-0 record, captured the FIBA Americas U16 Championship gold medal and qualified the U.S. for the 2012 FIBA U17 World Championship. Started the first two games, before dislocating his knuckle and was sidelined the remainder of the tournament. Averaged 8.0 ppg. and 2.0 rpg. in the first two games.
  • Named to the 2011-12 USA DNT on March 24, 2011.
  • Participated in the 2010 USA DNT mini-camp, held Oct. 9-10 in Colorado Springs.

  • As a junior in 2012-13, helped his team to 35-0 record and a state title.
  • As a sophomore in 2011-12, started all 35 games and averaged 16.0 ppg., 8.0 rpg., 2.0 apg. and 3.0 spg. to help his team to a 33-2 mark and state championship.

  • Son of Karen Taylor and Stanley Johnson Sr. and stepson of Easter Johnson; is the youngest of five children and has two brothers and two sisters.
  • Mom played basketball at Jackson State, where she was enshrined in its Sports Hall of Fame in 2009, and professionally in Denmark, Italy and Sweden.
  • Nickname is Showtime.
  • Has two dogs, a pit bull and a German Shepherd.

  • Also played wide receiver and defensive end in football from ages 9 through 13 and baseball from 9 to 10.
  • Started playing basketball when he was 5 years old.
