  • Gold Medals: 2012 Olympic Games, 2010 FIBA World Championship.
    • Named a member of the 2014-16 USA Men’s National Team on Jan. 23, 2014.
    • Member of the 2012 U.S. Olympic Team that finished 8-0 and won the gold medal. Played in all eight games and averaged 11.6 ppg. (fifth high on team), and added a team best 7.6 rpg., and shot 63.0 percent from the field.

    • Named consensus All-American first team, Wooden Award All-America Team and was a finalist for both the Naismith and Wooden Awards.

    • Son of Karen and Stan Love. Has an older brother Collin, and a younger sister Emily.
    • Father, Stan, played in the NBA for the Los Angeles Lakers and Washington Bullets; and his aunt, Kathleen McCartney Hearst, won the 1982 Ironman Triathlon and was inducted into the U.S. Triathlon Hall of Fame.
    • Uncle Mike Love is the lead singer of the Beach Boys.
    • Attended Lake Oswego High School (Oregon) and helped team reach the state 4A tournament four straight years, the state championship game three straight years, and a state title in 2006. Recorded career averages of averages of 26.8 ppg. and 14.5 rpg.
    • Set the Oregon state prep career scoring record with 2,628 points.
    • Named 2007 Gatorade National Male Athlete of the Year.
    • Earned the 2007 Naismith, Wooden, USA Today, National High School Coaches Association, McDonald's and Parade Magazine Male High School Player of the Year awards.
    • Became the first player in state history to be named player of the year three times, winning the award outright his sophomore
