USA Basketball Notes

Gold Medal: 2014 FIBA Americas U18 Championship.

  • Member of the 2014 USA U18 National Team that compiled a 5-0 record, won the FIBA Americas U18 Championship gold medal and qualified the U.S. for the 2015 FIBA U19 World Championship; started all five games and averaged 12.6 ppg. Went to the free throw line a team-leading 32 times.

  • Remains undecided about which college he will attend, but lists 14 finalists including, University of Arizona, University of Connecticut, Georgetown University, University of Kansas, University of Louisville, University of Maryland, University of Minnesota, University of North Carolina, University of Oklahoma, Texas A&M University, UCLA, UNLV, Wake Forest University and University of Washington.

High School Notes

  • Announced on June 9, 2014 that he will be transferring to Findlay Prep (Nev.) for his senior season.
  • As a junior, attended and played for Montrose Christian School (Rockville, Md.) after transferring from Oklahoma City Storm and Tulsa NOAH (Northeast Oklahoma Association of Homeschools (Okla.) where he played his first two years of high school.
  • Led the Mustangs to a 20-5 record and the National Christian School Athletic Association championship this past season, scoring 28 points during Montrose’s 65-63 win over Mount Mission in the championship game.
  • As a junior in 2013-14, averaged 25.5 ppg., 4.0 rpg., 2.8 apg. and 2.1 spg., while shooting 67.0 percent inside the arc and 94.0 percent from the free throw line.
  • As a sophomore, recorded a career-high perfomance in an overtime victory, scoring 64 points in the game.
  • During his two years in Oklahoma, averaged 29.3 ppg., 5.0 rpg., 4.4 apg. and 3.1 spg., finishing with a 31-9 record his second prep season in 2012-13, and 33-13 his first prep season in 2011-12.
